Carra Singers
Carra Singers is a female voice choir, directed by Ausra Kvietkute since 2018. The choir practices weekly in Castlebar, Co. Mayo and was founded by mezzo-soprano Margaret Probyn Fish in 2015. The choir’s repertoire varies from classical and folk to popular music. They have competed in the Mayo International Choral Festival and have performed at concerts in various locations in Mayo. Carra Singers with Musical Director Ausra Kvietkute travelled to Reading in September 2023 to perform at a concert in memory of the choir's founder Margaret Probyn Fish who passed away earlier in the year. The choir performed a selection of songs, including 'A Blessing' by Jay Althouse.
